Acts 26:1-32

I'm very much encouraged that Paul starts out by asking for Agrippa's patience. Then Paul goes on to describe his days of persecuting the Church. Its not easy for the modern mind to imagine what he says next. In a court setting Paul tells of his "heavenly vision." In that day and setting it's hard to imagine what actually happened, if I said such a thing in an LA or Larimer county courtroom, the outcome might make me flinch, and would not likely be received as admissible testimony. Not much after this Festus does blurt out his own honest disbelief. I get the impression from the discussion between the judges that they liked Paul... In any event they knew he wasn't worthy of death. Not enough people are honest like that anymore.
